1. Who we are

Alchemist ("Alchemist," "we," "us") is operated by TFAM LLC.

2. The service

Alchemist provides a freemium digital membership with optional paid subscription. The free Explorer tier grants permanent access to the core platform. The paid Analyst tier unlocks additional features including a private journal workspace, extended thesis generations, and advanced analytics.

3. Membership, billing, and renewal

Free tier (Explorer): Permanently free. No credit card required.
Paid tier (Analyst) price: $24.99 per month or $199 per year, plus applicable taxes.
Your paid subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Details are described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information.

6. Community content and acceptable use

Members may submit posts and other content to the feed. You agree not to:

Post unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Attempt to disrupt or compromise the website, accounts, or systems
Use the service to distribute spam or malicious code

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Content disclaimer

Content on Alchemist is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.

8. Intellectual property

The Alchemist site, design, and content we provide are owned by TFAM LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials except as allowed by law or with our permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if necessary to comply with law. If your account is terminated, you remain responsible for charges incurred prior to termination.

10. Changes to the service or terms

We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and may provide additional notice as appropriate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TFAM LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to TFAM LLC, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
